First, im gonna say that cip sucks dick. What ive written were all CRAP. BULL. VV..
Right, now on the scouty events..
SoloNightHike At ubin.
ash, sebas, kokhong and i went there on the firstday to setup the main campsite, and also to get things ready, settled down... We had lots of stuff with us(animals:frogs,fish changkol pails tents..etc) and we had to take a cab there ><''(OBVIOUSLY CAB TO THE FERRY, THEN TO UBIN BY FERRYBOAT dun be dumb)
We then took a cab-van in as there were too many things for us to carry and there were competitors! students from some international schoool! ash and guys thought that they might be going to the same spot as us. as thought, but we got there first and quickly setup our campsite..hehe.. ash brought his videocam along..which was very cool, he took down all the funny and educational moments..people who are interested in watching it can contact him whatsoever..u wont regret going thru the trouble of asking him to burn itisworthit.
anyway beside our site were all the students from the int. school and there were these few girls whose tent was just beside us hehe... that kok hongs hormones were on a rage..he couldnt resist himself and went over to chitchat wif the girls.. woohoo..flirting when he already got a girlfriend zzzz.. ash and i were in our tent, spying him with the cam armed wif nightvision! we sang..we had fun..we made fire..we ate.. hiakhiakhiakz. that was our day1.
Day2 morning, we waited for the other ventures and our rover+scouter to arrive before we could have our meal. we were really hungry lor..they took their own sweet time..kuku sia..__
Freedom wasnt ours anymore..had to do survival lessons for the year1 ventures..duh i was slacking while the others were working.. i had to go solo night as i dint attend the last year's SN.
year 1 ventures did their improvised shelters, tried survival killing..etc. soon its 5pm and time for us to enter the forest for our solonight! it was really a piti nigel couldnt attend..got to attend solonight with next year's noobs. HAHA! me fuming and bingquan and the otehrs were then brought into the forest..to our spots. Then the start of our solonight plus crappy night..jiaqing was really a noob..fukin'. if u guys reading this, want to kno more about what ahppened and all that hilarious parts...do give ash a call hehe..VV.

sad to say la..that was the last jobweek for the year2 ventures and it wasnt fun for us most...especially day1 and 2..we had to bring cadet scouts to do jobweek...that alone really demoralised me manymany:( anyway the fun part was when we(ash me nigel fuming bingquan fajarventure) sneaked into someplace and had our Macdonalds supper..haha! wth man. all the memoriable moments. lazy to tok on jobweek la..sucks manymany la. many had the thought that a scout hu earns, is a good scout and those who doesnt is one lousy scout.. fcuk you.

all of grss ventures+zhenwei+chunguan* were in SwiftFox..AND SWIFTFOX WAS VICTORIOUS. it simply proved something we all ourselves know.. :)
after this was the investiture hike to bt timah for those who just joined us this year...ha. was tiring for us as we(ventures) played thru the night.. the hike started at 4am... -.-

It has been an enriching module i can say, though i do know a little about computers. All chapters covered made sure we know very much about computers be it the softwares or hardwares. The textbook recommended to us was really detailed in explaining and such.
Problem Based Learning(PBL) assignments were great, we had to do researches ourselves and read up the textbook. This way, we actually learn more than what is in the textbook. CIP is necessary and important as now computers are becoming or should i say already, part of our life. Once again, i say CIP has enriched us all.

Week 7.
We were asked to report at the time same the week before, when we presented. Tutor gave his comments, and told us we got a B! I was quite satisfied maybe because the whole thing was only done by... :)). We have to make our own websites, oh no!

2Presentations in a week, OCOMM and of course, CIP. My group was the last to go. We got kind of worried when we saw other groups' number of slides, but they were actually quite redundant. Ours was reduced to minimum, compressed. So we presented soon after the the last 2nd group presented, it went smoothly. :D Same for my OCOMM ^^V

That was pretty relaxing, we were'nt given ppt assignment to do. Instead, we were asked to continue with our project work ><.... Anyway, my group's was barely half done.. we rushed alot by the end of the lesson, we finished up quite a bit. heh. Guess that's all.. Looking forward to the presentation next week, i can't live well with projects all cramped up in my mind! ://

Cip this module..pretty much similar to BCA. This time round they teach us Microsoft Powerpoint and some other fundamental skills for research etc.. Interesting. :))
